Safety & Policies

  • The health, safety, welfare and security of each child is important to Umi.

  • In collaboration with the schools and studios we visit, we aim to provide a healthy and safe environment for children, teachers, parents and all visitors.

  • Each class follows a set structure: opening activities, movement and play learning, closing relaxation activity.

  • If students exhibit flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, breathing difficulties, or concerning physical pain, they will not be allowed to practice movements.

  • Prior to each class, the schools, parents or studios we service need to provide Umi with information about any health concerns.

  • A registration document needs to be filled in for each child prior to engaging in the Umi programme.

  • Children are to be dressed in comfortable clothing, for ease of movement.

  • Umi strives for each class to include a maximum of 15 children. There will be 1 Head Teacher and a Co-Teacher to keep an eye on the class at all times.

  • Umi requires caregiver contacts in case of emergency. This can be filled in during the registration process.
