Safety & Policies
The health, safety, welfare and security of each child is important to Umi.
In collaboration with the schools and studios we visit, we aim to provide a healthy and safe environment for children, teachers, parents and all visitors.
Each class follows a set structure: opening activities, movement and play learning, closing relaxation activity.
If students exhibit flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, breathing difficulties, or concerning physical pain, they will not be allowed to practice movements.
Prior to each class, the schools, parents or studios we service need to provide Umi with information about any health concerns.
A registration document needs to be filled in for each child prior to engaging in the Umi programme.
Children are to be dressed in comfortable clothing, for ease of movement.
Umi strives for each class to include a maximum of 15 children. There will be 1 Head Teacher and a Co-Teacher to keep an eye on the class at all times.
Umi requires caregiver contacts in case of emergency. This can be filled in during the registration process.
