Class duration: 20 minutes
Class structure: Settling in, movement, book/song activity, calm time.
Example of class content: Mindful movement activities, guided calm time, reading stories about emotions, affirmations, sensory games, calm time.
Pre-school: ages: 3-6
Gross motor skills are more refined
Enjoy lots of movement
Enjoy games and stories
Enjoy music with movement

Developing self control, patience and independence

Class duration: 30 minutes
Class structure: Settling in, affirmations, movement, book/song activity, calm time.
Example of class content: Movement as a story, movement as a song, picture books they can touch, guided calm time including 5 senses, fun stories about emotions, repeating affirmations.
Early school: ages: 6-8
Still enjoy playing games

More independent
