Our program has been specially designed for preschools, primary schools and secondary schools.

Umi is inclusive and works with teachers and advisors who are experts in neurodiversity. In the case where we may not have the expertise, we will refer you to a service provider who is better able to meet your child's needs.

Our program is delivered by a team of specially trained educators using highly interactive exercises and techniques.

Our program covers topics including; emotional health, physical health, mental health.

We do not serve private homes. We are a mobile class, therefore we visit schools and health & fitness studios. But we are open to setting up a private class in these spaces.

Our working hours are 8am to 5pm South African Standard time, Monday-Friday.

Our sessions follow a curriculum with clear objectives and outcomes, created by Bent On Learning, an organisation that uplifts youth through yoga and mindfulness education in the classroom. To date, they have served over 22,000 kids in New York City schools.

We offer schools and health studio’s 1 month to 1 year programmes. We also have weekend pop up sessions for parents and children. Our sessions cover: mindful movement and play learning.

Mindful movement is gentle and steady. There are always two teachers present in each session. Our teachers are expertly trained. We are also in close collaboration with the schools and studios we service.

Our main teacher, Tiisetso, has a foundational and advanced training in Mindfulness for children. She has also completed a mindfulness for groups course, taught in-person by Trish Bartley, one of the world’s leading mindfulness educators. She has also completed a foundational and advanced course in yoga for children and is an internationally certified 200hr Yoga teacher.

No we do not. But on occasion we might have some fruit for the children as a treat.
